Client Modifications

As long as it doesn't interfere with the game or give you an unfair advantage, we don't really care which mods you use.

Allowed mods​

Below are mods that we allow (and encourage) you to use:

  • Optifine/Sodium
  • Zoom mods (Like Optifine or Logical Zoom)
  • Gamma-changing mods (Fullbright)
  • Minimap plugins (They shouldn't reveal the locations of players. Xaero's Minimap (Fair-Play) is a good choice.)

We are not responsible for the effects, safety, or security of any third-party modifications. You won't be banned for using any of the allowed mods.

Disallowed mods​

Below are the mods that we do not allow on the server:

  • Any form of hacked clients, cheat mods, or anything that enables you do do things on the server you would otherwise be unable to do that would give you an advantage. This includes X-ray, fly hacks, etc. You know what's cheating...

If you have any questions about which mods are allowed or not, open an SMP request on the Discord server and we'll help you there.

All other mods​

Any other mods that aren't listed above are to be used at your own risk, meaning that there's no guarantee you won't be banned for using them. As a rule of thumb, you're generally fine to use most client-side, quality of life mods.

Some fun mods we like (and are allowed):

  • Do a Barrel Roll (Thrusting will get you flagged and potentially banned.)
