Chat
For the most part, the chat is just like any other server.
Global chat
If you just type in the chat, your message will be seen by all. This is typical of any single-world server or SMP.
Private messages
You can message someone privately on the server. Just use /msg <username> <message> to message them. You can use /r <message> to reply to the last person who messaged you. If you want to turn off PMs entirely, use /togglepm.
Ignores
Sometimes, you just don't want to see messages from one specific player. To ignore a player, use /ignore <username>. You won't be able to receive private messages from them. To see a list of all the players you've ignored, use /ignorelist. To unignore a player, use /unignore <username>.
