Claiming Land & Homes

Once you find a place for your base (you might find a nice spot using /rtp, by the way), you'll probably want to protect your base.

How to get started

1. First, once you find a spot you like, run /claim. This will give you a 9x9 block region that only you can build in, unless you give someone access. Your claim will be outlined by glowstone and gold blocks. You own up to the outer edge of the outline.
   • Note: When you create a claim, it extends all the way down to bedrock.
2. If you want someone else to be able to build in your claim, you can run /trust <username> to give them access.
   • To view a list of the people you have trusted, as well as their permissions, run /trustlist while standing in your claim. You can remove someone's permission with /untrust <username>.
3. If you decide you no longer want to keep your claim, run /unclaim and your claim will be removed.

Expanding your claim

You'll soon realize that a 9x9 block region isn't very much to work with. Here's how you can expand your claim:

Using /expandclaim:

• The simplest way to expand your claim is to use the /expandclaim command.

1. To use the command, first face the direction you want to expand into. Make sure you're standing in your claim.
2. Run /expandclaim <# of blocks>. This will expand the claim in the direction you're facing by the number of blocks you specified. It'll also tell you how many more blocks you can expand.

Using a golden shovel:

• If you want more control over your claim size, you can use a golden shovel.

1. Hold a golden shovel. This should bring up your plot outline.
2. Right click a corner of your plot. You are now moving that corner.
3. Right click another block in the direction you want to expand. This will move that corner to the new block.

Getting more blocks

Buy them! You can buy claim blocks with in-game money. The cost is 1:1, meaning that each block costs $1. Here's how to do it:

• Use /buyclaimblocks <amount> to buy more blocks. You can check your balance in the scoreboard on the right.
• Use /sellclaimblocks <amount> to sell claim blocks you don't need. Tip: You get $100/hr as a reward for playing. By putting all that money into claim blocks, you can get 100 blocks/hr.

While you can use a golden shovel to see where you claim is, a more cost-effective solution is to use a stick. Right click any block with a stick to see if it's been claimed. If it has, it'll tell you who owns it and outline the claim. This also works for your own claims.

Everyone is limited to having 3 claims.

Claims expire after 6 months of inactivity, unless you have either 10,000 claim blocks or 5,000 bonus blocks.

Homes

Setting your home is the easiest way to get back to your base when you travel anywhere else.

Setting your home

To set your home, simply run /sethome [homename]. This will set the point where you're standing as a place you can teleport back to later.

By default, players can only set 1 home. If you want more, you can link your Discord to get the Member rank. Members can set 3 homes. See Link to Discord for more information.

Returning to your home

To return to your home, run /home, or, if you have multiple homes, /home [homename].

Deleting your home

To delete your home, run /delhome [homename].
